Chaay Badhaana

Born in Osaka, Tatu Yamamoto was first drawn to the digital pulse of rock, later diving into the brutal intensity of metal, core, and industrial. This exploration led to an obsessive deep-dive into the vast spectrum of techno, refining their sonic vision until all excess was stripped away—leaving only the core essence of minimal techno.

With over two decades as a graphic designer, shaping the visual identity of major brands, Tatu applies the same meticulous discipline to sound. Each production is a distilled result of historical research, sonic precision, and a relentless pursuit of functional groove. A fusion of restraint and raw energy, their music exists in the tension between repetition and evolution, where space and structure define the rhythm of motion.

大阪出身。デジタルロックに衝撃を受け、サウンドの可能性を探る中でメタル、コア、インダストリアルへと傾倒。その後、あらゆるテクノの系譜を辿り、行き着いたのは、無駄を削ぎ落としたミニマルテクノの核心だった。

グラフィックデザイナーとして20年以上のキャリアを持ち、大手企業のアートディレクションを多数手掛ける。音楽においても、ジャンルの歴史を深く調査し、磨き抜かれた視点で音を構築することを信条とする。研ぎ澄まされたリズムと空間処理、機能美に宿る狂気。そのすべてがTatuの音に息づいている。
