TEN-ON is a visionary post-classical and ambient acoustic art project formed by Kazu Sion, the pioneer of sound therapy and creator of the Singing Ring®, and Jamie Nakamura, an acclaimed music producer and multi-instrumentalist with a prolific career spanning the US and Japanese music scenes.
Bringing a profound background in clinical psychology and education, Kazu Sion has dedicated her life to healing the mind, body, and soul through the miraculous resonance of the Singing Ring®—a journey shaped by her years living in New York. Jamie Nakamura, having mastered modern jazz and arranging at the renowned Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, spent years producing and collaborating with top-tier artists in Hollywood, endlessly refining his unique artistic aesthetic and musical vision. Now, the paths of these two visionaries, who once breathed the creative air of America’s East and West Coasts, inevitably converge in Tokyo to birth TEN-ON.
At the core of TEN-ON lies a meticulous collection of field recordings captured along Tokyo’s historic Sumida River. Based on five iconic locations—Kiyosu Bridge, Hamarikyu, Kuramae, Asakusa, and Suijin-Ohashi—the project explores five deep spiritual concepts: Samsara (Cycle), Shunya (Stillness), Pavitra (Purification), Resonance (Echo), and Moksha (Liberation).

TEN-ON is a collaborative post-classical and ambient acoustic art project by Singing Ring® creator/sound therapist Kazu Sion and accomplished music producer Jamie Nakamura. 本プロジェクトの核となるのは、隅田川の5つの舞台（清洲橋、浜離宮、蔵前、浅草、水神大橋）で緻密にフィールドレコーディングされた、日常の自然音・環境音。それらが内包する5つの精神世界──「輪廻（Samsara）」「静寂（Shunya）」「浄化（Pavitra）」「共鳴（Resonance）」「解脱（Moksha）」──という深遠なコンセプトを軸に、シンギング・リンが放つ全倍音の響きと、Jamie Nakamuraによる美しく緻密なピアノ演奏、そして卓越したアレンジメントが織りなす極上のポストクラシカル・サウンドを展開。
