Tokyo based composer yanaco, creates his own style of electronic music that crosses over from beatless genres such as ambient and electronica to trip hop and breakbeats. He includes multiple layers of sounds and complex beats in his music, and he has built up his own borderless soundscapes and it has received an abundance of attention worldwide. In February 2022, he released an EP on the Belgian label Urban Waves, that introduces up-and-coming beatmakers from all over the world.
He released his first album "Colors" in July 2023.Continuing with this momentum, he released 12 consecutive singles starting in October 2023, and released his latest album "Leaving / Arriving" along with the final single in March 2024.
His song "Leaving" was sampled on "koshi xoxo" from Camila Cabello's new album "C,XOXO" by former Fifth Harmony member and Grammy-nominated solo artist.
The LP of his latest album "Leaving/Arriving" is scheduled for release on October 2, 2024.
